QuickBooks ProAdvisor
At Guardian, as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor you will be the go-to resource for clients who need help with their QuickBooks software or accounting services.
As a ProAdvisor, you may work directly with clients to provide support and guidance on how to use QuickBooks effectively. You may also be responsible for providing training sessions to your clients’ employees so they can learn how to best utilize the software within their own departments.
Quickbooks Pro Advisor Job Duties
Recommending software upgrades to meet changing needs and improve efficiency
Helping clients understand how to use accounting software to track business finances
Creating reports for accounting purposes such as payroll, profit and loss statements, and tax returns
Providing training to clients on how to use QuickBooks efficiently and effectively
Reviewing financial statements to ensure they are accurate and complete
Providing advice on financial matters such as investments, cash flow, debt management, and tax planning
Preparing estimates based on project costs and time frames to ensure clients are aware of potential costs before starting a project
Preparing business tax returns and analyzing data to identify potential issues with the return
Providing advice on technology solutions to improve operations
Requirements:
QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification
2 years of work experience as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor with verifiable references
Certified Public Accountant
As a Certified Public Accountant at Guardian, you will part of a holistic financial management team. As a lead Tax Accountant, or Tax CPA, you will be responsible for helping individuals and organizations file their taxes appropriately while following legal guidelines and obtaining the maximum possible tax return. Their duties include collecting tax forms and tracking client paperwork, identifying potential tax credits and producing tax reports.
Tax Accountant duties include the following:
Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database
Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work
Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications
Prepare complex federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C Corporations, S Corporations, trusts, estates and individuals
Research tax issues and reach conclusions with adequate technical support
Apply technical knowledge and work experience to consulting engagements
Train, mentor and provide work direction to staff
Recognize, anticipate and resolve tax issues; make recommendations
Review and organize tax information supplied by client
Requirements:
Experience in corporate, partnerships and individual returns
A minimum of three years of experience performing tax services in a CPA firm
Bachelor’s Degree
CPA or actively working toward achieving license
